March update 1.42: More Boston to explore

read
Huge congratulations to EXR ambassador Ward Lemmelijn on securing his 7th indoor rowing world championship title! His achievement is a testament to the power of dedication — and the impact of training with EXR. Just saying!
This month’s EXR update adds 2 new routes to Boston and introduces oar shapes. Plus, a broad range of improvements and fixes ensures the best indoor rowing workouts.
New
2 extra Boston routes
You don’t always have to row countless kilometers for a great workout. To amp up the fun on shorter routes, we added two new courses: the 700 m Dockside Dash and the 1.6 km Arsenal Ring.

Throughout the year, more routes will be added to various maps including expansions of new waterways.
Customization category: oar shapes
You can now choose from a variety of oar shapes with the default for everyone being “Macon”. When selecting a shape, you can customize it with a design. However, some shapes do not support design variations.
Improved
- Improved some of the colors of customization items to be more consistent.
- Routes are now sorted according to distance.
- Updated the interface designs of FTP tests.
- Updated competition HUD and results screen.
- Strava uploads now display training blocks.
- Changed the placement of the EXR watermark when taking a screenshot.
- Upgraded the route for FTP tests on the Trial of Extremes.
- Added small visual improvements to Boston.
Fixed
- Corrected the name of the Arctic loop to the Polar loop.
- Fixed bug that prevented sessions from saving as private.
- Fixed a bug that caused issues at group events.
- Added various general bug fixes.
