July update 1.46: New bling, boat and better HUD

The Henley Royal Regatta has just ended, but you can still row on the Thames in timeless style. EXR’s July update introduces new items, including the luxury set, 2 new achievements and an upgraded segment HUD.
The July update will be released gradually over one week for all operating systems. You can check for updates in the App Store/ Play Store or wait until the app updates automatically.
New
Upgraded segment HUD
The Heads-Up Display (HUD) for the sprint segments got a visual overhaul and now displays your all-time PR and your record of the year. After your sprint, the leaderboards now display the best times of the year instead of all time.
Take a more detailed look at the leaderboards, including filters on the EXR web leaderboards.
More items and new beard style
New items have been added to truly row in style. The following items are new and part of the Luxury Set:
- Bowler Hat (unlockable from level 30 for 1500 X-Coins)
- Trilby Hat (unlockable from level 30 for 1500 X-Coins)
- Top Hat (unlockable from level 30 for 1500 X-Coins)
- Waistcoat Suit (unlockable from level 35 for 3500 X-Coins)
- Formal Shoes (unlockable from level 32 for 3000 X-Coins)
- Monocle (unlockable from level 33 for 3000 X-Coins)
- Luxury Watch (unlockable from level 30 for 5000 X-Coins)
These two additional items have been added:
- Biker Gloves (unlockable from level 30 for 1250 X-Coins)
- Eyepatch (unlockable from level 23 for 1700 X-Coins)
- Pirate Raft (unlockable from level 48 for 5000 X-Coins)
As an extra beard style, sideburns have been added.
2 new achievements
Unlock the new silver achievements “It’s mine” by buying 25 items from the shop. Claim the new platinum achievement “Money well spent” by purchasing 150 items from the shop.
Improved
- You can now customize your HUD from the overlay menu during your session.
- Apple Health now saves EXR sessions as rowing distance.
- Updated the “following other rowers HUD element”.
Fixed
- Smaller bug fixes and minor improvements.
