EXR’s December update scratches your competitive itch by adding private competitions as a new feature. Create an online rowing race, invite your friends and earn bragging rights! Moreover, the update includes various improvements and fixes.
New
Private competitions
The new private competition feature lets you create custom rowing races. Invite your friends to your race by using a lobby code. In the race lobby, take on the role of one of six racers or just lean back and watch the action as a spectator. If you’re spectating, flip between views of each lane to keep track.

Row in the Snow events
Let’s get into a festive mood with a bit of snow! Join us for the Row in the Snow 1 and Row in the Snow 2 events and celebrate the holidays in a sporty way!
Improved
- Name cards have been improved to reduce flashing. The name cards of friends and Record Replays now have new colors to differentiate them from each other more easily.
- Updated design and improved readability of the "up next" element in Training Mode.
- Added false start message to Competition Mode.
- Improved readability and usability of various UI elements.
Beat the last challenges of the year
