December update 1.51: Row in the Snow at Henley

Happy holidays! This month’s release transforms Henley into a snowy winter scene, adds a fresh short route to explore, introduces four new cosmetic items, and launches this year’s Holiday Challenge with a brand-new badge and rewards. Consider it an early present to kick off your festive rowing sessions.
New
Snowy Henley: Holiday Challenge with updated badge and extra items
Henley-on-Thames just turned into a winter wonderland with snow and holiday decoration!
Complete at least one of the Holiday Events to beat the Holiday Challenge, unlock the new badge, and claim the latest seasonal rewards. Unlocking the new badge also grants access to all previous holiday rewards.
The new items include the following:
- Snowman Oars: unlock for 675 X-Coins.
- Striped Scarf: unlock for 750 X-Coins.
Additionally, a new cosmetic winter item has been added to the shop: the Classic Scarf, available at level 20 for 450 X-Coins.
The Holiday Challenge is only available with EXR update 1.51. Once you unlock the holiday item set, it stays unlocked to be bought or equipped all around the year.
Additional Henley route
There’s another route to explore on Henley: Rod Eyot Loop. This new route is 1.3 km long and takes you around the Rod Eyot Island.
Upgraded connection screen
The connection screen got an overhaul with extra features like a step-by-step support slideshow, a status display of the automatic reconnection flow and a watts-indicator. Its functionality stays the same: use it to connect your rowing machine and heart rate monitor with EXR.
Ocean Rowing Boats
EXR is proudly supporting Team Ocean Mavericks at the World’s Toughest Row: a rowing race across the Atlantic Ocean. To give you a bit of an ocean rowing feel, an ocean boat has been added to EXR:
- Ocean Rowing Boat: unlock at level 35 for 2500 X-Coins.
- Ocean Rowing Boat Branded: unlock at level 37 for 3000 X-Coins.
Winning unisuit of the design competition
EWe have a winner! The winning unisuit design was created by Jeroen D. featuring a GOAT (= Greatest Of All Time) and a slogan we’re taking to heart: Eat, Sleep, EXR, Repeat.
- GOAT Unisuit: unlock at level 22 for 2000 X-Coins.
