CONNECT WITH A CABLE

EXR automatically connects to your PM when the “Paired Devices” menu is open. If this does not work, please perform the following steps.

While in the “Paired Devices” menu of EXR, pull out the USB cable and plug it back in after a few seconds. If this does not fix the problem, we recommend starting the program “Concept2 Utility” on your device.

When the program has finished loading, check if your ergometer is indicated under “Connected Devices” in the top right corner of the Concept2 Utility app. If this is not the case, unplug the USB cable again, and plug it in again after a few seconds.

As soon as your ergometer is indicated as connected, close the Concept2 Utility program. Simply open EXR again, and the connection should be indicated in green.

CONNECT WITH BLUETOOTH

Please note that the PM3 and PM4 do NOT support Bluetooth connection, only the PM5 supports Bluetooth.

Start by turning on both Bluetooth and Location services in the settings menu on your Windows device.

Next, open the connect menu on your PM5 by pressing MENU => CONNECT. Make sure nothing is connected to the PM5. You can remove previously made connections on your Windows device by clicking it and selecting “Remove device”.

Click on the search button in EXR on your Windows device. When the search finishes, select your device from the list and press connect. When the connection is established, the icon will turn green.
