EXR session didn't save

There are several reasons your EXR session did not save and several quick ways to fix it.

Internet connection issues: \nA slow, unstable, or lost internet connection can prevent your session from saving. Check your connection or switch to a different network, such as mobile data or a hotspot, and try saving again.

Temporary EXR server issues \nIt is possible that the EXR servers experience brief interruptions. Please wait a few minutes and try saving again.

  • You might see a pop-up during your workout saying the connection to the server was lost.
  • The save button might stop responding when you try to save your training report.
  • In the past sessions tab in the app, your session is labeled as “not saved”. This means it only saved onto your device and has not yet synced with the EXR server and third-party apps. Click on the session to try saving it again.

Problem: My EXR session was saved as private but didn’t upload to Strava.

Strava doesn’t accept private uploads from third-party apps like EXR. This is different from how the Concept2 Logbook works. To make sure your future sessions upload to Strava, set the visibility to public when saving the session in EXR and confirm the Strava icon is highlighted.
