Does EXR run on my hardware?

To run EXR, a modern device with an internet connection is needed.

EXR processes a lot of data which — together with the display of 3D environments — requires powerful hardware. To connect, Bluetooth is required in most cases.

Android

  • Android® 7.0 or higher
  • Arm64-v8a ABI (Arm64 architecture)
  • 4 GB RAM
  • OpenGL ES 3.2 or higher
  • Bluetooth version 4.0 or higher

iOS

  • iOS® 15.0 or higher
  • 4 GB RAM
  • Bluetooth version 4.0 or higher

macOS

  • Requires macOS 10.13.0 or later.
  • Metal capable Intel & Apple Silicon
  • AMD GPU

tvOS

  • Apple TV 4K (1st generation or higher)
  • Requires tvOS 11.1 or later.

Windows

  • Windows 10

For the best training experience, we recommend high-end tablets like the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 or the Apple iPad (2021+) series.

Looking for a budget option that runs EXR well? 
We recommend the Apple iPad (2019+) series. For Android users, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ is a solid pick in the same price range as the iPad, but it is less powerful. As a low-end device, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 can play EXR on minimum settings.
